Statement of Significance (as of designation - April 15, 1970):
Completed in 1773, this is a little-altered, continuously used late Georgian brick church. The east wall is highlighted by a 2-tier Palladian window. The interior wooden galleries were added about 1785.

Condition:
No threats, the church is kept in excellent condition.

The landmark received the City of Alexandria's Beautification Award for the churchyard.
