Statement of Significance (as of designation - December 22, 1977):
Constructed in 1908, this summer house in the California Bungalow style exemplifies the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century. Contemporary with Franklin Lloyd Wright's "Prairie Houses," this structure is the finest surviving example of the work of architects Charles S. and Henry M. Greene.

The hosue is currently in a very good state of preservation, and is monitored on a regular basis by an architectural conservator.

There are no changes to the landmark.
