Statement of Significance (as of designation - November 7, 1973):
Built in 1850, this structure was designed to resemble an Old World Parish Church. The Gothic Revival cruciform-design church features walls of yellow pise de terre and a high-pitched roof of red tile, and contains a rare organ and original carved walnut pews.

Condition:
The church is still closed due to severe termite damage.

The church reports that termites are now under control, but litigation against Orkin is needed to provide funds for restoration.
