Statement of Significance (as of designation - July 19, 1964):
Site depicts a late prehistoric and early historic period, representing the Gulf Coast Timucua Indian culture at the time of European contact.

Condition:
The Indian mound is in satifactory condition. Portions of the stone retaining wall have developed some cracking. Repairs to these wall is expected to be completed in the next 12 months,
