Statement of Significance (as of designation - May 16, 2000):
One of a small number of residences designed by Ero Saarinen, the Miller House (1957) is an important residential representation of the International Style, a subtype of the Modern Movement. The landscape of Dan Kiley is one of the first and most important Modern designs in residential landscape architecture. Building and landscape are fully integrated in this collaboration.

Condition:
No threats at this time.

Recent changes include: 1. Repainting the exterior (summer 2008) 2. Replacing glass panels on exterior/driveway. 3. New honey locust trees planted on river side of house.
