Statement of Significance (as of designation - May 28, 1987):
Built between 1924-1927, this complex is an excellent examples of the type of architecture encouraged by the National Park Service and built by the railroads. These are the best of what remains of the entire Bryce Lodge Complex. They were a part of the Union Pacific/Utah Parks System that included concession developments at other National Parks.

Condition:
The property is in very good condition.

A cultural landscape report is being prepared in cooperation with the University of Arizona. Some interior renovation work has occurred recently, which has not affected the integrity of the NHL.
