Statement of Significance (as of designation - January 28, 1964):
Completed in 1835, this is one of the oldest of the multiple stone-arched railroad bridges and an early, notable example of railroad bridge construction in the United States.
Condition:
This stone bridge is still in daily use by CSX Railroad.
