Statement of Significance (as of designation - May 23, 1966):
A campsite for Meriwether Lewis on his return trip from the Pacific in 1806. Northernmost point reached by the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Situated on the Blackfeet Reservation.
Condition:
No changes since the last status report. The site is in good condition. Although in a remote location, the Cut Bank Chamber of Commerce Visitor Information Center can provide information regarding site access.

The increased visitation to the site could have potential impacts and this needs to be determined.
