Statement of Significance (as of designation - June 23, 1965):
Stanton, a leader in the women's rights movement, lived here at the time of the Women's Rights Convention at Seneca Falls in 1848, which she helped organize.
There are no threats to the landmark at this time.
There is no change in the condition of the landmark.
