Statement of Significance (as of designation - July 19, 1964):
Organized in Scotland in 1883, this company was one of the foreign concerns that flourished in the West when the range cattle industry was profitable during the 1880s. It operated for over 70 years. Surviving buildings include the ranchhouse, barn, and commissary.

Condition:
The ranch structures suffer from deferred maintenance with most structures in need of some stabilization and maintenance work.
