Statement of Significance (as of designation - January 20, 1961):
Excavations at this site demonstrated the antiquity of a type of spear point commonly found throughout the Plains region. This is the type site for the Plainview point, which has been found to date to 7800-5100 BC.

Condition:
The landmark is still at a "watch" level.

No change since last reporting period. Concrete site marker is crumbling and needs restoration.

Recommendation/Change since last report:
The site needs to have its boundary defined.
