Statement of Significance (as of designation - May 23, 1968):
Begun in 1876, the Morrow Plots were the first soil experiment plots established by a college in the United States. The site has provided data on the effects of crop rotation and the impact of organic and chemical nutriment on plant yield.

Condition:
There are no threats to the landmark at this time.

There has been no change since the last reporting period (2006).
